For the rest of 2020, the first Friday of the month is Bandcamp Friday. All day long, Bandcamp waives its revenue share for all downloads, so the full amount for all purchases goes straight to the artists. This means that you can name your price to download Fractured Heroes audio chapters, and the full amount will go to me directly. The next Bandcamp Friday is September 4th–just a week from today!
This Bandcamp Friday also comes at a crucial time for us, as we just welcomed our first baby boy into the world less than a month ago! We’d definitely appreciate and find good use for any extra generosity from friends, fans, or supporters during this joyful but chaotic time of transition.
If you’re interested in supporting an up-and-coming author with a brand new baby, consider downloading the audio story on Friday, September 4th. Here’s what you can do:
- Go to this link on September 4th, between midnight and midnight PDT, and name your price to download all or part of the available Fractured Heroes audio chapters.
- Go to the Facebook event and click “Going” to show your attendance and get a reminder when the event starts.
- Like my Facebook page to get reminders of future events and be notified when I go live!
Last month, I did a Facebook live broadcast and a live reading from the story on Bandcamp Friday. I’m going to try to do that again on the morning of September 4th. (I say try because little is certain with a newborn. And the last time I planned to go live on a Friday morning, our washing machine exploded and flooded half our apartment! Never a dull moment…)
